As many of you might already be aware, Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow City Centre are hosting a Student Takeover Night to offer exclusive discounts to students from participating stores. All terms and conditions of this can be found either on their website or on their Facebook event as well as a full list of stores offering discounts and details of how much each store is offering.
In light of this, I've decided to take a slightly different approach in what I've been blogging lately and recommend a list of top picks from some of the stores offering discounts!

Accessorizing this dress is pretty much essential so I'd definitely recommend a statement necklace, but just as good as that is this (slightly expensive) adjustable square ring from Mango who are offering a massive 30% off their stock! Currently priced at £24.99, this ring is available in silver and gold and is the perfect addition to any jewellery box.
For a more everyday 'just popping to the shops' look, I love this embellished red shirt from River Island currently priced at £36. Such a casual look has been spruced up with a smooth, high-quality fabric and gold toned embellishments on the shoulder as well as gold toned buttons. And as if this look wasn't perfect enough on its own with a pair of jeans, I've found the perfect blazer from H&M to accompany it, making any casual look that bit more formal!
Despite the old saying that "red and green should never be seen", I adore this tote bag from River Island priced at £40. The pastel green tone, I think, would compliment the burgundy shirt, giving a colourful autumn look.
On a slightly different note, Boux Avenue are also amongst the many stores participating in the Student Takeover so if you're in need of any new underwear or sleepwear, then this should definitely be the first place you look! And if you're just looking to treat yourself, then I would keep your eye out for this beautiful bra and underwear set. Bra sizes range from 30C-34F and is priced at £30 with the matching underwear and suspender belt priced at £12-16 and £20 respectively. The shade and lace detail of this set is not only desirable, but also slightly Christmassy if you're looking for a set for an occasion! Unfortunately the pixel quality isn't great in this picture but a better quality version can be found here on the Boux Avenue website.
Moving back to clothes you can wear in public is this print shift dress from Oasis, RRP at £42. The bold colours are perfect for this season and requires little accessories to go with it, perhaps making up for the slightly high price tag attached! But the quality of this item is certainly not in dispute and is great for casual and slightly more formal occasions, perhaps the odd birthday party at the local community hall or even just to impress as you're walking down the high street.

And last but by no means least is this coral purse priced at £10 from River Island. Whether you're looking for a new purse or not, these colours are certainly versatile and at this price from River Island is a bit of a steal to be honest! The paleness of the colours means that it will go with almost anything without overpowering and is perfect all year round, not just for summer!
That's about it from me for now. Obviously I've seen a lot more to look out for tomorrow night but these are my far my favourites. I'd also just like to state that I own none of these pictures used and copyright belongs to the respective websites of each of the pictures which I've already specified. In addition to this, I have not been hired to promote any of these stores or the event of the Student Takeover mentioned, nor am I being promoted for doing so. These are all my own opinions to share simply for enjoyment purposes and I hope I have fulfilled in doing just that!
Were you at the Buchanan Galleries Student Takeover this year? Let me know if you managed to grab any good bargains!
